I went inside and told my wife to come out. She didn’t know what it was for, but when she saw what it was... she was pissed off! She was like “Those frogs are probably scared to death!” and was acting like I just killed them and left the corpses there.

She is still upset at me, and the frogs were gone this morning. Would you say I am in the wrong?

For those wanting more info, I have some misc. stuff you can use to decide your answer.

I was wearing gloves, I washed my hands afterwards, I was gentle with toad, and I know they were toads, It was 9:20 P.M. exact.
