I've finally gotten around to playing Sleeping Dogs. So far it seems p dope. I don't think it does anything amazingly but it does everything at least slightly better than most open world games would. Like most open world games do a few things really well and everything else is poo poo. Sleeping Dogs doesn't do anything amazingly well but it also manages to be above average in all categories and below average in none.

Huh, I think the open world aspect of Sleeping Dogs is probably the weakest, but that's okay, because it doesn't over-reach and try to do anything it can't. It's a great game and the combat and story are where it really shines.

Every time Steam makes an update regarding their smart phone authenticator I am in awe of how many people there are who can afford gaming PCs and massive game libraries yet can't afford even a cheapie smart phone.

A problem I had with Sleeping Dogs' story is that it is bad at indicating how much time has passed between missions. Which leaves you feeling like you're missing something when characters all act like they've known each other for a long time when you just met them 2-3 missions ago.
