My friend made an album only using sounds from his kitchen as instruments and I drew some wee things to go with it. Added a wee bit of animation in Photoshop. Hi thread, I've not posted much in here but my cats are still going! I've been busy doing a Kickstarter for my Inkspot Cat playing cards which is doing pretty well, much to my surprise. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1671305805/ink-spot-cat-playing-cards The last few days I have been having a lot of fun drawing members of my imaginary cat circus,   These two clowns don't talk to each other and no one is sure why. Made some drawings in preparation for painting my friend's refrigerator. Gonna make it kinda a dyptich altarpiece thing. Gonna have some hotdog cherub type things, with these cool word bubbles.   The central focal point of the altarpiece will be a self-cannibalizing refrigerator.  Also did this edit to a coloring book last night.

I'm exhausted by how slowly I am improving. Here is the best I could do in terms of a comic style page. Its got serious issues, but I enjoyed thinking about how to lead the user around the page.

I tried to be all pretty and sensitive and pastel and I still think I mixed in too many broken colours I also got a request to do a quick owl logo redesign. I was just supposed to do a sketch but I really got into it.

Got some solid work done on the top portion of my fridge dyptich/altarpiece. Still missing something in the bottom corners and top center. Had to stop though cause I fractured a rib in a drunken biking accident and while I like suffering for my art, it was hurting too much.

I've been trying to get into drawing regularly again, and a few days ago I started doing some comics for some reason; one page every day. Not sure how long I'll keep this strip going, but I think posting in these threads again could be useful motivation. That overlap/tangent with the moulding on top is super awkward, any chance on moving those hot dog faeries down a few centimeters?

Yeah I'm not thrilled with it either, but it's not gonna happen for several reasons. Mostly that it's a free painting on a refrigerator, and also that orange is a custom mixed color and I'm not terribly inclined to attempt to color match, paint over and redo the hotdog fairies. I can probably add some stuff to the plastic moulding to make it seem less weird.
