I've never seen the hole, but here in Ohio, they put a coaster.or napkin on top of the drink if they leave to smoke, hit the bathroom, buy weed in the parking lot, etc. and intend to return.

I hope I never have to eat at another Old Country Buffet again, my family loved that place. All the food is mediocre, and lukewarm. The worst part was that it was in my local mall, and my dad loved to go to a couple places afterwards. All this while dragging teen me around for any school mates in the mall to see.

God I hated those nights.

Sorry, this was in response to that Country Buffet video.

Yeah, I can't remember if I ever even bothered with the carved meat at the Old Country Buffet, all I remember is everything had an odd taste to it. Not that everything had an individual odd taste, it was the same odd taste across the board, be it the mashed potatoes, the macaroni and cheese, or the "pizza."

I've never seen MD 20/20 in the wild. I always wanted to try them after reading some ancient early 2000s website that reviewed wino/hobo beverages.

Those Johnny Bootlegger things are all over the place though. They taste like a cheap/lovely version of sugary fruit liqueurs that you're supposed to use as part of a mixed beverage? Maybe they are good with a shot of vodka in some club soda??

I have never seen MD 20/20 for sale, I have however seen it in some redneck fridges in Kansas. I was actually given a bottle of it once because the owner of it didn't like the flavor. This was the beginning of my drinking career so I can't tell you a damned thing about it.

Never heard of Johnny Bootlegger before this thread.

Awesome that nobody in the Florida government never said, "...But what if that just makes them buy two bottles?"

Alcohol laws state-to-state are incredibly dumb except for when its a state-run store because they gotta get theirs.

I'm pretty sure you can get 40s in Ohio but I haven't bought one since I left Kansas. Hell probably not in a good 10 or 12 years.

In Kansas you can't buy anything higher than 3.2% outside of a liquor store, so it was nothing but bud/Miller/Coors pisswater at the grocery stores and gas stations.

I used to take my backpack and walk down to the liquor store and load up on two or three 40s. One time I got yelled at by the landlord because she caught me cutting through a big break in the fence where someone had blatantly hit it from the other side (it was hidden by a car port). That shortcut was nice while it lasted.

I have a good 40oz story:

Early college, I was not really a drinker, went to a few parties, nothing crazy, never had alcohol in the house...one day came home from class and felt super bored, thought to myself, drat "I could really go for a 40 rn." but knew that was just a wish. Anyway, I was bored and kept walking around my apartment and opening the fridge...it was pretty much empty...but I just kept gravitating to the fridge. After about 3 or 4 times looking, I said, drat, wish there was a 40 in here...opened the crisper drawer...a loving 40 rolls out. I had no memory of putting it there, there was about one sip taken from it, but holy poo poo, a frosty cold 40 magically appeared, my deepest wish granted...it was a good day.

Dude, you wasted your one wish on a 40?
