I miss games that really changed up the levels depending on difficulty. Perfect Dark and Goldeneye did it so well. The last game I can think of that did it was Timesplitters 2, made by ex-Rare people I think, the jungle level had a whole ridiculous Indiana Jones ruin that you would just never see on easy mode and the first level had a secret zombie laboratory breakout and helicopter bossfight. It was insane.

for those of you who don't Get The Reference: punches caused a motion blur effect that dropped the game to like 3 fps, and they forgot to turn it off when you died, and I'm pretty sure the duration stacked so if you got punched three times it would be five minutes before the game was playable again so you were better off resetting the match

didnt halo 1 have something like that? you could punch a body over and over and the blood spatters would keep stacking forever and lag everyone the gently caress out

I got it when it came out because I loved Goldeneye but then on the first level I kept riding the elevators up and down and didn't know where to go so I got bored and gave up. Then years later I decided to give the 360 port another shot but I didn't know where to go on the first level and got bored and gave up

Walking around in the carrington institute is cool I guess

No. But if you suicided fast enough, you would eventually have a HUGE pile of grenades and guns. Then you could throw a grenade at them and make the game lag.

you use the elevator to get to the bottom floor and then you use another elevator to end the first level
