The new Vålerenga stadium opens on saturday. First official match will be between Vålerenga and Kolbotn in Toppserien. On Sunday Vålerenga will play Sarpsborg 08 in Tippeligaen. Congrats! It does look like its made from a tutorial AutoCad file, but then again there are no good looking Norwegian stadiums except maybe Viking.

I don't know exact how much Intility pays, but they say it's above 6 mill NOK, but less than 10 mill NOK a year. It's a good deal although the name could have been a bit better... It will still be called Valle or Vålerenga stadion though.

And Ranheim got promoted to the Eliteserien. That means we got these teams to look forward to next season: Bodø/Glimt, Brann, Haugesund, Kristiansund, Lillestrøm, Molde, Odd, Ranheim, Rosenborg, Sandefjord, Sarpsborg 08, Stabæk, Start, Strømsgodset, Tromsø and Vålerenga. Going to be a good season.
