Something I will likely say with regret after tomorrow. I'm glad Little Rock won because I think ISU has a better chance against them than Purdue. Purdue definitely snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in that game.

While this is true, that 3 to send the game to OT was nuts.

Very true. That guy misses that shot probably 80% of the time.

Go Dayton, gently caress Boeheim. Probably the only time I root for the higher seed today.

I don't think this game is going to go well for Asheville. Also this gives me a moment to reflect on how many teams there are in North Carolina, and how like half of them make the tournament every year.

Four ACC teams, Wilmington, Asheville, Greensboro, Charlotte, Davidson, App State, Western Carolina, East Carolina, NCA&T, NC Central, Elon...am I missing any?

I was going to say Coastal Carolina, but I guess they're in SC.

Asheville is making it a game now.

Nova shot like 34% on the year for 3 and are shooting 39% right now. So it would be the difference of like one 3 if they shot their average.

Who here is stunned that Wichita State (16-2 in conf, #8 on kenpom pyth) is good, and that Baylor (10-8 in conf) and Oregon State (9-9) and USC (9-9) are bad? If only we had some way of knowing in advance. All this is almost as shocking as Kentucky and Indiana looking good

Comparing conference records is pretty silly when OSU and USC both have way hard schedules than Wichita St. Wichita is way better than their seed though.

I'm becoming Old Cranky Man, but the more time marches on the more I want time outs severely restricted in basketball. I hate how quick coaches are to call them now.

They need to reduce the TV timeouts, go every 5 minutes instead of 4. Of course that will never happen.

Yeah, that isn't coming down to reality in the 2nd half.

Edit: VCU is shooting 7% from 3, but is still up 11.
