I've had a lot of fun with Stardew Valley, and I think it's the best offshoot of the N64 era Harvest Moon out there. But at the end of Year 1 I've seen pretty much everything I want to in the game and the endgame is "make absurd amounts of money that has no use." Sprinklers are cool. I wish the economic balance in Stardew was better.

Oh and I forgot to mention the cool crafting system in Rune Factory 4. You can add extra items to stuff you craft, so you can make a pendant that has the effects of multiple other pendants in one. Total rarity and level also matters so you can make your weapons stronger by fusing them with perfect turnips.

Rune factory 4 is good if you're into animal people... THe RF series has horrendous art and graphics, and abysmal combat. Oh, for another friends of mineral town...
