I don’t want this rat to be my roommate.” Roof rat escaped to live in the storage drawer on my oven for a few days before it got lonely because no other rats were willing to join it in my apartment that is filled with predator stank. It is no longer in my apartment. Although I think it was the one that popped in to say below from the wood root hole under my door in the middle of the night a month ago. One cat was already there, waiting, and two others were heading that way, so she rapidly backed back into that hole. She did not look crusty, but it’s the only place I can figure my cat picked it up. (Treated with a single dose of clotrimazole on her ear because she is an adult cat and her immune system functions fully)

I must describe a scene to you because I am unable to get to my phone to take a picture. I am sitting cross-legged on the couch, browsing the forums. On each leg I have a cat sleeping, their head pointed towards my knee. One of my cats is a big fat chonky boi who weighs about 17 lbs. Please send food and coffee, I cannot move. Also fatcat leg is asleep.
