I showed the boob rat photos to my boyfriend and his only commentary was that it would be more impressive if they were capybaras. I definitely don't have the boob size to pull it off though.

The ones kept as pets or in petting zoos are always given very clean water to swim in but I imagine wild ones, even away from human pollution, can get pretty swampy.
