That looked like a pretty clean block to me. Maybe some body contact but that's pretty weak. If anything the foul should have been called on Trimble before the shot.

What's that? The rando 50 year old in the class has a fuckton of personal anecdotes, and you're going to hear them all by the end of the semester? Well knock me over with a loving feather.

I don't really know what the NBA looks for anymore, MV seems better at that. From my perspective, Ellis was pushed into a post role that didn't really fit him or prepare him for what he'd have to be in the NBA for quite awhile, but he's been working on his jumpshot quite a bit, so he looks more NBA-ready to me. Late first round, early second round, some time spent in the D-league, an okayish utility player. But that might be homerism, and again, I'm not sure what the NBA looks for these days.

Being able to make threes helps, but I don't think he has the size or athleticism for it. He'd be awful defensively in the pros. He's also old for a draft pick even beyond the jokes about him being 55

Yeah, he just gets muscled horribly around from what I see, and stuffed way too easily. I think Selden has more potential if he keeps up how he's done this year.
