Hey all, is there a drone megathread? I couldn't find one anywhere and I find myself suddenly immensely curious about throwing money away into something that can fly around and take videos for like 10 minutes. Based on the research that I've done so far (I skimmed the first webpage that google gave me) there's a range of about $38 to about $3000 on the recommended drone list that some dude made.

I know some of you nerds must have drones, so I'm looking for advice about how to buy a thing that can take decent video out doors and I'm hoping I'll also still be able to afford my rent.
