Grad transfer Valentine Izundu is transferring to SDSU for his last year of eligibility, after a big drama battle with Wazzu not granting him his release even though he had already graduated. I am happy. He'll step in immediately and try to pick up the slack for the departed Skylar Spencer. Hooray.

San Diego State will play at Gonzaga on November 14th this year, probably during ESPN's 24 hour tipoff marathon. The return game will be in December of 2017 at Viejas. Woohoo.

SDSU announces a home and home series with Gonzaga (Gonzaga in 2016, at San Diego in 2017), along with a three game series against Cal, with the first game being at a neutral court this year, the Kings new arena in Sacramento.

So they just announced the 2018-2019 Maui Invitational field Arizona Auburn Duke Gonzaga Illinois Iowa State San Diego State Xavier That's a hell of an early season tournament
