Jarmak posted:Holy poo poo what SL are you? i think im around 110? theres tons of players out there around that point, and ive read that 110-125 is what most people are stopping their builds at. i dont really give a gently caress since the pvp is normally absolute poo poo but sometimes youll find a nice peanut in it. im just gonna continue to level as i progress through ng+, then probably stop once ive beaten it. might do ng++ to get all the endings i was doing some invasions as a mad phantom in the undead settlement last night and managed to invade the same person 5 times in a row. first time i killed the host. 2nd time i killed the phantom summon, which fulfilled the duty and started sending me home, but while i was porting out i killed the host again. 3rd time i felt a little bad so i waited for a minute, and a dark spirit invaded. we ended up having a duel and a couple timing mistakes got me killed. i re-invaded so quickly that the dark spirit hadnt moved on from the bridge where we fought the first time, so it was reckoning time  then another mad phantom, wearing an untrue white ring showed up  she quickly dropped the ruse and pulled out a gag hammer, and i proceeded to whup that rear end  the host and her sunbro were watching the whole time  no one else invaded so i got bored and attacked them. this time the sunbro dodged me pretty drat good and eventually caught me in a pool of lava from the spell she kept spamming. the fifth and final time, i showed up and started dueling the sunbro again, then a blue sentinal showed up and the three of them chased me away, until a dark spirit invaded and took the heat off me. they killed the poo poo out of him, then the sentinal was feeling rowdy and came after me on his own, and i punished him with swift murder. while this was going on another dark spirit invaded, and with their attention focused on him, i snuck up on the host and gave her two swift strokes and la petite mort heres a good unrelated vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRswclEJ_Gk

Beat the pontiff after an insane amount of tries. Every time I co-oped to help people we won, but when I summoned my phantoms were either incompetent or had the bug where they couldn't get through the fog. Ended up going with just one phantom and the slightly reduced HP pool helped. Also the fact I got real gud dodging his attacks. The next area... invasions galore I just wanna fight NPCs!

Also the alleged hyperarmor bonus poise gives is actually tied to weight. So if you fat roll you can just man through the estoc using shitter and smash him in half with a great axe, or ultra great sword
