I don't see him as boring at all. Sorry he's not Schwarzenegger punching Godzilla in the face? He's a weary dude just back from a tour then has to deal with his crazy dad, has him die right in front of him topped with the reality of a giant lizard and what appear to be aliens terrorizing the world. Taylor-Johnson played it very well.

I believe they said this Godzilla is all absorbing in Shin. So he absorbs sea creatures then as he morphs bigger and the final tail is all the dead humans he absorbed.

More Godzilla is great to me. Shin was surprisingly amazing. I didn't like it at first but was ruined by some fat gently caress laughing his rear end off at inappropriate times in the movie but on a second and third viewing its amazing. Plus the s/t owns. Is Vogt-Roberts still attached? He's like best buds with Hideo Kojima right now and either he's helping direct cutscenes for his newest game.... or he's moving to making Metal Gear. Which recently got Hideo's blessing as saying he's the only one who could direct it.

Don't think I ever beat that game - I think when you get to the Terminator hellscape it gets like really loving hard. Such a good game tho - excellent graphics and sounds. Felt so chunky.
