Since the latest patch that addressed the desync issues I've been having so much fun with this now. It's so good to finally be able to play this game like it was intended offline too.

My first GG was I think just XX on PS2 and the menu music feels really nostalgic to hear, like I never Really Played +R but a lot of the sounds and visuals feel really familiar. Coming from mostly learning in Xrd too it's fun to see how much of what I already knew ported back to the older game.

Just played a bunch of matches and it felt great. Fought a lot Order-Sol, had no idea he was so popular. Ended the night with like 20 matches against Millia player that reliably anti air'd my May 2HS which forced me to change my approach.

I played +R for the first time with friends for the first time tonight and holy poo poo it rules. I learned Slayer in Xrd, and he's loving crazy in this version! 2 types of cross up Dandy? Manual "It's Late"?? 6K +5 on block??? I'm in awe lol. Also I love how many different movement options the cast has. Bridget's ability to stall and shift momentum is hella dope looking.

No, that's been one of the ways into Sidewinder loops forever. The tricky part of Sidewinder loops is positioning things so you get the Clean Hit. +R gave Sol an EX Sidewinder that always Clean Hits.

I played like 30 minutes of Guilty Gear X 100 years ago and thats the length of my GG experience so I got noooo clue what to do in Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R Showcase Showdown: The Final Assault. Buuuut if I mash out marvel-ish poo poo with Chipp Zanuff it at least LOOKS pretty cool. 3 bucks well spent.

I played some +R last night and I had fun with it. I played Ky since I wasn't sure if the desync thing was patched yet, I'll probably also give Faust and Zappa a try though now that it's fixed. Javelin and FBs are all pretty cool tools. I don't really miss YRC, FRC windows seem a bit tight but I guess it's a muscle memory thing. I always like the phase of online FGs where there are a lot of people on and learning, it gives a lot of leeway to learn stuff and try things out. (Then I pick a shoto anyway..)

I was gonna buy GG XX Accent Core Plus R (lmao that name) since I saw it was $3 thanks to Jmcrofts, but then Steam said I already owned it. Cool  I have zero clue how/when I ended up obtaining it lol. Gonna try it out this weekend with friends. My first anime fighter

I always wished more fighting games had them since they're fast and add a lot and there's always going to be at least a little load time to cover up anyway. But in the LB1 single player on the Neo Geo those were also such an awesome way to quickly link the characters to their background and build their personality a bit without any words. Sort of like wrestling promos/entrances
