I’m happy for the Skullgirls community. That game has been so cursed for the past 10 years with regards to Evo and I’m glad it’s getting the time in the spotlight. I’m also very excited for KOF 15. Watching tournaments of the game and it’s so ridiculously cool to watch. Heck, the show match had El Arosa using their Dinosaur, which is always hype. Excited for this line up.

I’m glad that Arc Sys have just come out saying Testament uses gender neutral pronouns. Definitely didn’t expect it from a Japanese developer but it’s awesome to see NB characters in fighting games. They look badass.

So Bridget is the main reason I picked up Guilty Gear and holy gently caress I suck and this is hard but also fun? Like 632146 inputs give me nightmares and my brain goes empty if I ever actually go into a fight, but I just enjoy Bridget as a character so much that I can still have fun? So I decided to try Guilty Hear because I love Bridget and her theme. After a weekend of playing with goons, my thumb still aches from using the Dpad and I’ve bought a QanBa Drone fighting stick. I think I like Guilty Gear Strive. So far, I’ve settled into Bridget and Testament as mains. The former is a hyperactive ball of mobility that is just super fun to play while Testament has their BEEG normals that feel satisfying to hit. I didn’t think I’d be this into Guilty Gear, but here I am.
