They talk about general game news and also pretty much whatever they feel like, usually professional wrestling, anime, and literally anything involving Street Fighter. Listen in to this group of idiots as they spend 3 hours discussing "Dragonball Z fanfiction", record from a construction site, and name their podcasts poo poo like "Aryan Resurrection" and "Slave Syrup". Maybe liam should be the devil's advokawaiite. Also, it's fuccboivin, get it right! And they have the best titles, they're so good that they get them disqualified from podcast award shows because the shows don't want to read them out loud

Austin Walker is leaving Giant Bomb, and thus the Giant Beastcast, which is basically the worst, but because he's been hired by Vice to be the editor-in-chief of their brand-new gaming section in Brooklyn, so maybe he'll have a podcast of his very own! Though it just won't be the same without him and Vinny together.

Aw, I finally caught up on Idle Thumbs and Jake's teased the Hat Baron finale(which is suitably ridiculous) for two weeks, then forgot it entirely on the third one, and now he's gonna be out of town for the next episode or two I think! Blueballin' the audience, man!

Oh man those reactions were everything I could have hoped for. I wish I could go into more depth about what he's done but any more and it'd be too easy to actually find out who he is, and I'd rather not do that to him. Also, while he did fence for account hijackers, his justification was that nobody lost anything (since valve replaced any stolen items), and the person he ganked 10k from was doing some shadier poo poo on the side. But yeah, the whole story is a hell of a ride, glad I was able to get back in touch with him and finish the tale. And I've got to dig out my dota shirt boxes but that care package will be heading to idle thumbs relatively soon, probably somewhere in the next few weeks.

Insanely huge company? They make a lot of money, but they're about 300-350 employees. That's super small for a company of valve's stature. I'm pretty sure some individual ubisoft games have been made by more people than the entirety of valve

Yeah, forcing themselves to talk about games led to the dark ages during the development of firewatch where they weren't able to play many games but still tried to talk about stuff they hadn't played and it was pretty bad. Things are good again though, and their just putzing around topics instead of trying to laser-focus on games is much better.

Like, check his fight against the capra demon.
