Zaggitz posted:Anyone who's able to I definitely suggest watching this episode a second time. You catch SO much that's just off writing/continuity wise. The first hint was that she was having glitchy seizures and reality was straight up changed, Matrix style. Second was the apartment, third was the realization that Fusco wasn't in, nor was the police station or the subway station. Also the fact that everyone acted like they hadn't had any character development in a few seasons. What sealed it I think was the kiss/sex, since the last time two main characters made out it was a machine run simulation.

stoops posted:What was the coded radio/printer message Root gave to Shaw? Four alarm fire, a reference to this exchange in If-then-else Root: [to Shaw as they are leaning close together against a wall, firing their weapons and covering the others' escape] We're so good at this together. You're gonna realize that someday. Sameen Shaw: [as they move together down the hall after the others, firing] Root. No offense. You're hot. You're good with a gun. Those are two qualities I greatly admire. But, you and me together would be like a four alarm fire at an oil refinery. Root: Sounds cozy.

Slamhound posted:This has been bothering me for a while, but I don't think the Machine was telling Harold to kill the congressman in that episode. The congressman was both Relevant and Irrelevant. His actions would lead to catastrophe making him Relevant. But he was both unaware of the results of his actions and targeted for murder by Decima agents, making him Irrelevant. The Machine was faced with a moral quandary and placed Harold there so that Admin would solve it. TALAMANTES TALAMAS TALAS TALLAS TALLIS I''d say due to the spacing, it's gotta be John Talas.
