Since Yuenling isn't sold in CA they had a guy from back home who would drive a pickup truck full of the stuff cross country to us bootlegger style. We couldn't display it or put it on the menu and it was served by request only to people from PGH. We charged $7 a bottle and it was strictly inventoried unlike the entire bottle of Jameson the staff drank on average each day.

Good stuff for when you don't want to drink Corona but can't stand the thought of being sober at your significant other's friend's wedding

We have at least 10 breweries in this podunk town and even at the brewery their beers cost premium beer prices, which is around 4x what you pay for a can of Pabst at the bars that sell that. I've never seen a micro priced like you're talking about so be thankful they do things like that.

We pay more for beer here in Canada, so the cost for Coors is probably much higher than it is in the States

Edit: They also do Growler refills at either of their locations, $6.50/L, so their beer can be had slightly cheaper if you don't mind carrying a jug

Can of Pabst is 50 cents about.

A lot of people are but you might have noticed that a lot of other ridiculously regionally specific beers also aren't on the list. I've lived in the Midwest, a few places in the West, and the East Coast and I've never seen a can of that in the flesh.
