Judging by the only other constant duder that has played on the Abyss team hasn't posted in a while (kaschei) it's time to go freelance on something silly. Count me in to run Nemelex combos into the ground over and over again until by sheer luck they manage to survive until the end.

Question: Is there a way to set it in the RC file that
1) I always want to eat the purple, so mark it as auto-pickup/edible
2) Whenever it would ask if I want to butcher the corpses, answer with (e)?

Vehumet has been always stronger in extended. You get a spellpower boost AND a range increase on your blaster spells, combined with MP on kill whereas Sif was "you can channel MP more efficiently I guess?" Sif having more active abilities certainly shrinks the distance between them but Vehumet is still on top.

Vehumet doesn't give a spellpower boost, it's a double Wiz bonus. Still good but not the same. Most of the high-end spells don't qualify for the range boost either.

Vehumet is better for blasters though. The mp on kill is really good and the wiz makes casting big spells a lot easier.

I always liked spamming channel energy with Necromutation, and a guaranteed Necromutation from Sif seems really good for extended. The new free spells for -cast seems really iffy for me.

Yeah those baileys tend to have multiple potions of experience and stuff like that. I think I dealt with it fairly twice and on two other occassions led the warlord out and teleported away so I could get the loot.

If you can't kill it, you're supposed to leave. It can't move fast, if you don't feel like you can kill an orc warlord just walk away

you could also just kite it around for a bit then haste yourself so you can grab the loot before fleeing

there was a guy ('bcadren') who was trying this for a while. he didn't succeed, but now that batform can open doors and drink potions, it's probably a bit more viable.

There are several ways to kill the warlord while being massively underleveled.

Poison kiting is possible depending on the layout, easier with a blowgun and easiest with curare; with Kiku you can even use corpse rot. With mephitic or confuse you can spam it until it sticks, then just hope he doesn't get a lucky hit and chump you. Tukimas dance also helps weaken him for enchanters. Invisibility is weaker than confuse but achieves a similar effect, both are a lot better if you can stab well. Paralyze is a free win if you can get it to land. A more conditional option is scrolls of immolation, hit multiple targets then use a ranged attack to pop a loitering goblin/orc and let the chain reaction do its job. A bounced bolt of lightning is also surprisingly effective, just be careful because it's not the most reliable. There are a couple god powers that can take care of him as well, mostly the low piety * summons (including decks) and banish.
Just don't try to fight him head on and you should come out on top.

Alternatively, get lucky and find the bailey on d9+ after already clearing lair/orc and cruise through it without a care.

I'm a big fan of mephitic clouding the warlord and then praying the confuse kicks in around deep water and then sploosh gone goes the big bad orc. Aside from that guzzling all you potion buffs and going to town on him is always solid too, assuming the portal hasn't shown up too early for you to acquire a nice little portable apothecary.

Had a bunch of fun getting a couple of bats to temple, which isn't too hard surprisingly enough. I'm trying to figure out what god would be best suited for playing beyond this point. Mahkleb seems good as was mentioned, I tried Ru since you can sac pretty much anything straight away and it won't make much difference, but it didn't really help me as much as i hoped.
I'm going to try a Qazlal Bat. Sounds terrible but i think it might be ok.

Does this mean the teams list is supposed to work on the tournament page? It doesn't. (I wanted to double-check to make sure it was reading the teams properly, as I had some trouble adding some of my teammates last go-around.)
