i love seeing these avatars all over the forum and you are more than welcome to pick one up. however, in order to prevent avatar collisions, i ask that you post once in this thread calling which one you've taken.

once someone has called an avatar, i will apply the "claimed" overlay on it to prevent someone else from taking it. i have no way of tracking who does what automatically, so help protect your new ~brand~ by saying hi or something.

tags are usually thread specific so make sure you don't just grab one that looks cool without knowing what it is

Just a heads up to the OP that sadly many of the ones you made won't work because they're over 100kb. It's the hard limit. It's actually a bit under 100kb - I found that 98kb is the safe number.

Sadly you won't be able to avatarise some of them with just resizing as they will end up small and crappy, they need custom work. I always keep mine at 150x150px but play around with the number of animation frames, dithering %, color palettes, framing - it all adds up little by little to get under the limit.
