Lol I did every other level in the game and never got a single shine at the hotel for about a decade bc of that manta.

I think the lotus flowers in the acid is harder than the manta but the game's worst thing is putting 30 blue coins in every level. the hard parts are just hard, they're fine.

Supposedly the Best Buy one (Rocketfish brand) is good. As a bonus there's no front part of the dock so the screen doesn't get scratched every time you put it in the dock. Only downside is one USB port instead of 3.
