BOTW link also feels like the most fleshed out IMO, like there are actually reasons for things like why he talks so little and the dialog choices have enough color that he sort of has a personality. it's cool that the more they give beedle to say the more he seems like a complete psychopath.

I liked Spirit Tracks better on the first play through but when I tried to replay it the train poo poo was just unbearable. I must have been able to tolerate it the first time due to the novelty but the second time it was just too tedious.

I thought Phantom Hourglass was really good and i wasn't that big of a fan of post-snes/GB Zelda games until LBW and breath of the wild. I actually really liked the central dungeon thing that a lot of people complain about. I didn't mind the touch controls but there's a hack if you would rather use the d pad https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2248/
