Maybe we can set a more or less standard raid start time? Or at least a cutoff where we don't start after a certain time? I'm west coast so I'm not personally impacted, but I can see east coast folks not wanting a raid to start after, say, midnight their time.

My primary arena team are all gear 9 at this point. This required 3 pre-crafted parts and 2 shipment furnace purchases. In all likelihood my first gear 10 will probably be fives, since his gear nine didn't require a blocking part, and i have one pre-crafted part left.

I've read that if you drop $200 into crystals, and then spend them on the current Arodium(sp?) character (Wedge), you will get enough shards to 7* him. Not that I'm recommending this, but if you absolutely want a 7* non-farmable character, that's the way to do it.

I've gotten a shard from the 10th fight. You're guaranteed one on the 12th, but there's a small chance to get them on earlier fights as well.

So. I'd like to advocate for a slightly later raid start time. For me the rancor was down to 75% of stage 4 when I checked in at 7:45 am. Maybe a morning pacific time start rather than at rollover?

Edit: if there's no pencil, it's possible that you gave your age as <13 when you created your account. In that case you're outta luck.

The folks who were blowing out the guard section of the T5 fights have done a good job dealing with it in T6. It's almost done. Past experience is that the Rancor is simpler for teams not oriented to fighting the guards. I think there's a good chance of clearing this in 2 days.

Stages for Light Side Stage 8 Hard difficulty can now be properly refreshed with Crystals.

Note that the bit about special damage gear doesn't appear to actually have made it into the release.

arodium characters are only in the shop for a month or so, which means if you don't pull enough to 7* the character, you're stuck.

Took a shot at the new event. I got to the final round before getting pecked to death by the royal guards, but I feel it's totally doable with my current team. You definitely need ST Han, and you probably also need Ackbar lead. The rest of my team was a high geared fives, a reasonable Luke, and a severly underlevelled Biggs. I'll be getting 7* on both Fives and Ackbar tomorrow, so we'll see how things go.

You motivated me to give it another go. Managed to finish it after 5-6 more tries. Team was 6* lvl 70 Ackbar, 6* lvl 80 Fives, 7* lvl 72 Han, 6* lvl 70 Luke, and 5* lvl 50 Biggs. Biggs died on the way and Palpy killed Han, the rest survived.

The team that scares me the most is one with Old Ben (L) and ST Han. If you let Han get his taunt off, he's immediately followed by Ben's massive debuff (which includes ability block and offense down), so you can't dispel the taunt and you end up softly tapping Han. At this point I usually end up selecting my maximum stun team (Dooku, Daka, RG) and hope that I manage to get one of them suppressed.

Also, because there's an achievement for the Imperial event, I'm sure it'll return. The Yoda event will be back tomorrow.

Yeah that's my identical team. At least one of the guys on my server is running a gear 11 Han, who has about 34k combined protection/health. With Ben leader, if you whiff a hit against him, he'll get enough meter to taunt right away.

IMO people who run both Han and RG are dumb. With an evasion leader they have crap damage.

Just got my first character to gear 11 - QGJ. At level 80 7* he has a bit over 30k combined health/protection and 240% potency. Every gear slot at this point is a placeholder, so he's done until the next level cap.

I'm also happy that we're having this lull, since I've had a bunch of characters hit 7* and I'm also trying to push my important non-arena ones from 70 where they were stalled before the last level cap increase.

If your team is prepared to take on the door guards, you can rack up a lot of score. If you're not, you're probably better off letting others clear the guards, so you can save yourself the frustration.

Bug Fixes
Yoda can only grant positive effects to allies using Battlemaster’s Meditation. No buffs are shared with allies unless Meditation is used and Yoda has that buff.
Fixed a bug where Grand Master Yoda's Masterstroke ability grants Offense Up if used against an enemy leader Poggle the Lesser. Grand Master Yoda's Masterstroke ability should now only grant himself visible buff present on enemies.
Sun Fac's "Spiteful Strike" ability deals 15% more damage after the Omega upgrade. Bug fixed where he could potentially deal more than 15%.
Fixed a bug with Rey’s reverse lookup when tapping on the Assault Battles: Military Might event but not having reached level 78 to unlock the event.

It's not clear in the notes, but droid callers in shipments will be replacing furnaces, and in 2 weeks will be replaced by one of the other gear items. I for one will be saving all my crystals for scanners, because gently caress those things.

Go into Guilds > Raids and then back out again, this always makes the reward show up for me. You can do something similar to get arena rewards to show up.

Also, the issue that was causing multiple rewards was related to an update they were doing, basically a 90 minute window, so don't worry about collecting rewards going forward.
