There are a lot of right answers. Scoundrels enable Smuggling events that give a bunch of good training droids and more importantly, credits. Boba, STHan and Lando are for this. Boba and STHan are characters you can max out and still have a ton of use out of, Lando is better before end game and you will get some good use out of him in PVP especially. Empire characters are needed for a few things like R2-D2, mod challenges, Territory Battles and so on. Royal Guard is great, try and get his shards from hard mode every day if you want, or pick 3 Empire characters to try and max out, one of which being Tie Fighter Pilot who is a rockstar. The reason for that is you can get Thrawn and Emperor Palpatine from having Rebels, so don't waste resources maxing someone like Magmatrooper who you'd bench for literally anything else to challenge him for a slot. Rebels team would either be Biggs, Wedge, and pretty much anyone else you want to slot in there like Lando and STHan, or you can do what I did and go full tard on Phoenix Squad ignoring Sabine because she is nearly impossible to get shards for. Admiral Ackbar is also a nice get because of Fleet. Doing great at Arena PVP and Fleet PVP = free crystals, crystals = better stuff. What exactly for you is priority #1 can be a few things, but focusing on a recent character event so you can nab it next rotation is always a good idea. Start farming First Order Storm Trooper and FO TFP the second you can, getting BB8 is torture.

The second you get a 7 Star character, you could start getting Raid Han or possibly GK shards. At 65 you can start tickling Territory Battles to get some rewards there. I would join a goon guild as close to 65 as you can after getting someone to 7. Before then you’re better off in a lowbie guild doing easy Rancors.

To anyone doubting they can clear BB8 level 7. I just got BB8 with G7 Kylo omega on Unstoppable, G8 Unmasked L not even full level 7 abilities, G7 FOO no omegas, G8 FOST level 4 abilities, G7 Phasma level 74 level 4 abilities. BB8 did not use Illuminated Destiny once on 3 unstunned turns, instead using more secret intel and basics, and the bastard didn't dodge any Kylo stuns. RNG is an amazing thing.
