I would say the fact that PWG is able to get such a wide variety of world-class workers is solid evidence that they pay reasonable rates, but then again people still work for TNA. Okay but even if that were true you could only lowball a guy so many times, right? Ricochet, Ospreay, O'Reilly, Hero and Liger aren't working BOLA for an internet rub.

I went to Bar Wrestling in Baldwin Park, CA last night. It was a good show and it was only $10 to get in. Jeff Cobb vs. Willy Mack was the main event. Great match. Some guy called Luchasaurus ran in with a beer in his hand after the bell but ended up eating a stunner from Willy. Then he attacked a few fans on the way out. World's Cutest Tag Team faced Matt Cross and Ivelisse. Real fun. Peter Avalon vs. Pinkie Sanchez. The P in PPA now stands for Professional and he comes off as a rip off Marty Scrull. Nobody knew what to make of Sanchez. Crowd chanted 'What the gently caress' at him.

Tickets for night one of PWG's All Star Weekend 13 are still on sale. Probably because the ticket price has gone up again and the names on the show (besides a few) don't jump out at anyone.

David Starr vs. Fred Yehi got over with the PWG crowd. Starr in particular has a personality that really clicks. He sold some shirts. The match itself was good. More of a classic style like watching a Gulak/Thatcher match. Very few high spots. Ask Meltzer what he thought.

I started watching Dojo Pro. I am up to the Brandon Cutler episode. The format is cool. The story telling in between matches is cool. The actual wrestling is meh. Wheeler Yuta is really good for 21.

Janela is ranked at 8 out of 12 in Dojo Pro and the show states that it is because while he is popular for daredevil theatrics, he has to prove that he can wrestle. Jeff Cobb is ranked #1 which is the right choice.
