Anyone else have success in finding another case that fits inside of a Pelican 1510 besides the Silverstone Sugo 13B? Going to two Dreamhack's in 2017 and want to build a new machine, I know the S13B fits but before I jumped all over it was just curious if anyone has done anything like that before.

Anyone know what's going on with the 2nd run of the DAN A4 cases? the A4 and the SG13B are the only two cases I've seen that'll fit inside my pelican case for Dreamhack's this year.

So I think I have finally made a decision on a case to build in and take with me to the three Dreamhacks in North America, as much as I would LOVE to buy a DAN case the pricing is going to be way too high at $200ish which would really eat into my budget.

So the sizing on this Raijintek Metis Plus seems to be perfect 190x277x254 to fit inside of a Pelican 1510, has anyone dealt with Raijintek? I did find an older LinusTech (when he was working for NCIX lol) who did a build in one and he didn't have anything bad to say.

Do we have any info on the release dates/prices on ASUS' Z270 ITX boards? I'm intrigued by the twin m.2 slots on the Strix Z270i, primarily for future expansion if needed. I'm wondering if that trickles down to the less "bling" boards or not.

I don't think so, there was a Twitter post saying that info will be coming late Jan/Early Feb

do you have any recommendations for smaller cases? i really dont even know where/how to begin looking. i like the construction/look of the manta, so anything in a similar vein (but smaller) would be nice.

the Silverstone SG13's are pretty good, you can also check out Bitfenix and Fractal Design.

I'm personally waiting for the Metis Plus to become available in the USA, I was told 2-3 weeks. http://www.raijintek.com/en/products_detail.php?ProductID=54

Can I please get some more eyes on this parts list? Only thing I'm nervous about is whether this is the best z270 motherboard and if I could jam a better cooler in the node 202.

Personally I'm waiting for the Asus mitx board but the MSI is slick too.

$50 more... considering Samsung and 3-year warranty I'd spring for that.

Just because the MyDigitalStoarage is an NVMe drive doesn't mean it'll match up in benchmarks. For all we know it could be slower than the non-NVME 850 Evo.

But that's just the thing, no one knows, because as far as I can see there's no benchmarks for it.

There are a ton of benchmarks on it on toms hardware and its their recommended nvme drive for $200 , I'm phone posting but I'll grab a link when I get to a PC.

Amazon is known to refund people for that, and it is also very likely that your credit card has a theft/damage protection clause that will cover you as well. One of my coworkers bought a brand new MacBook and left it in an Uber, I told him to check with his credit card and they wound up refunding more than half the price back to him he got over $1000 back.

Ordered off Newegg marketplace but I'll check to see Chase will cover a no proof claim.

Just a quick update on my stolen M.2 Card, MyDigital came through and is sending me a free replacement, so great CSR on their end. I did file a police report and everything just in case though.

Our entire team rolled into Dreamhack Austin with mitx machines that fit into Pelican 1510s, watching people struggle with full towers as they unloaded on the sidewalk was worth every penny.
