I think Roman needs a heel run similar to The Rock after his "Die Rocky, Die" phase or Kevin Nash after he jumped to WCW. Dude's a natural smug entitled prick. Let him run with that for six months or a year and then turn him face again. It's not like with Cena where he was getting huge merch sales, PPV boosts and ratings increases that make keeping him face the smart business decision despite what reaction he gets. Other than his booking and interviews where he sounds like a whiny pissbaby I quite like Roman Reigns and wish him all the best.

Roman Reigns is a very good wrestler who carries himself well and gives off the aura of a main eventer whenever he doesn't have a microphone infront of his face. The reason people have a problem with Roman is that after years of being told "You don't want Punk/Daniel Bryan/Styles/ Whoever to get the big push, you want Sheamus!" Roman Reigns is getting chance after chance to be that huge draw and he keeps floundering. If any other wrestler had cut the loony tunes promos and bombed as hard with McMahon's hand crafted material then they would have been tossed aside instantly and with a near decade of that people getting stop start pushes because of this having anyone who wasn't already beloved get this push will rub people up the wrong way. The problem to me isn't Roman himself, it's that anyone would get that consistent hard push after years of the WWE essentially telling fans to shut up and sit down whenever they got excited about someone that WWE didn't want to get excited about. Fans are saying "This is it? This is what you told me to give up on Punk/Bryan/Styles/Whoever for?"
