IT IS ABOUT NOODLES

The Ramen aisle. Between the soups and pastas, a war rages. A battle for Instant Ramen Supremacy. For years, the Maruchan have held sway, but forces conspire to take their shelfspace for themselves, to oust their greatest competitors and reign supreme over discount foods everywhere. Can they maintain their place at the top, or will jealousy and infighting destroy them?

It is up to you, to protect your claim and fight back...but do you know who to trust?

This will be a JK9++ Closed setup, so make sure to read your PMs carefully. 13 players, 48h/24h day and night.

General Rules: (Stolen from Podima)

Standard Mafia Rules are in effect for this game. Don't be a dick.
Twilight posting after the hammer is acceptable, but the thread will be closed when the flip is posted.
No replacements will be allowed. please don't sign up if you aren't going to put actual effort into this game.
Days will be ~24-36 hours (or more, depending on weekends) and Nights will be ~12-24 hours. Nights will be closed but I'll reopen the thread promptly.
Votes will be by majority, and no-lynches are possible.
Anti-Lurking Rule:
- If you don't make at least 10 posts in a game day, you will be HATED the next game day and require one less vote to lynch.
- If you are already HATED and do not make at least 10 posts the following game day, you will be MODKILLED.

Tensions were high after the loss of such a treasured brand as Indomie, and as the Maruchan gathered together, their voices rang out in unison: Pork had to go. No one wanted him around anyway, and the other flavors had long petitioned to have their space repurposed for more varieties of cup noodles, who were more easily cowed by the Maruchan supremacy.

"I heard him say he wanted the whole shelf removed!"

"I heard he used to be a Top Ramen flavor!"

"His words are nothing but poo poo!"

As they approached Pork's spot on the shelf, they expected to find a traitor. What they found was a warrior.

"I can see you will not listen to reason, and force will be required. Spirits of the supermarket, LEND ME YOUR POWER!!!"

What happened next, well...

Mayor Glowku(Maruchan Pork Ramen), Vengeful Town, has been taken off the shelf Day 1!

After the spectacle of last night, the Maruchan are apprehensive about what lies ahead of them. As the stock is restocked, yet another brand has gone missing.
"Where is he! Where did Picante Beef go!?"

"That weirdo? I thought he got into that pissing match with Beef over who was more Beef."

"Yeah, well, he's gone!"

A scream punctuates the early morning, as the Maruchan run to it's source, and find a grisly scene.

Moatillata, Maruchan Picante Beef Flavor(Vanilla) has been taken off the shelf N1!

Day 2 begins now, Ra-men.

Another day came to an end. It had been a day of divisive discussion, and in the end, the suspicion turned upon Shrimp. Everyone had it up to here with his ornery ways, and his hidden knowledge of the Ways of the Aisle.

"He has to be one of them! He just has to!"

"If we don't stop him now, we could lose the whole shelf!"

"No...the whole aisle. Maybe the entire market.

As they converged upon Shrimp, who had been innocently working on his project to keep all the noodles safe which conveniently looked like a plan to lock people up and 'protect' them, was not expecting them.
It was his LAST MISTAKE...

...but it would not be the last mistake made by the Maruchan. Not by a long shot.

tpink, Maruchan Shrimp Ramen(Town Jailkeeper) has been taken off the shelf Day 2!

Maybe you're a little offbeat, maybe you're neon pink, but you're a good guy to have around. Not everyone's into seafood though, and that can make you so angry! Sometimes you hide the other flavors on the back of the shelf, where they can't be found until they're restocked.

NO ONE HAS COMPLETED THE DAY EVENT, THUS, IT HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF DAY THREE :siren:

The Maruchan had built a legacy, one that had withstood the test of time for decades. They had become the premiere food of college students, the poor, and the lazy.

The internet had brought them a new wave of prosperity as recipes flourished. Yet, with great connectiveness came competiton from afar. From there the seeds were sown that would bring their downfall.

And it only took two days.

As the Maruchan gathered, they looked on in horror as the last of the premier flavors were found dead.

dongsbot 9000, Town Tracker, has been taken off the shelf N2!

As far as they could tell, Oriental tried hiding behind Beef in a last ditch effort to survive the night, only to fall victim to an attack meant for Beef himself!

IllegallySober, Town Hider, has been Mistakenly taken off the shelf Night 2!

CCKeane(Maruchan Creamy Chicken[VT]), CapitalistPig(Maruchan Mushroom[VT], Anomalous Amalgam(Maruchan Lime Shrimp[VT]) have been Endgamed!
