I have several local owls and one bird feeder. Problem is that the owls like to eat the birds. What is the optimal food to attract more birds to my feeders ?

A humming bird got stuck in my garage like an idiot today and I coaxed him out with my humming bird feeder, and he landed on my finger so he could lick the gently caress out of that little plastic yellow flower. If an owl eats my humming bird I'm going to murder everyone I see with a knife until I am defeated in battle.
