My friends (heh), one thing always annoyed me. In the mornings before work, it makes sense the ones who live next door are eating breakfast together. But Ross and phoebe are always there too. Joey was only a soap star for like one season. He was an unemployed actor for like 90% of the show.

Monica and Rachel mostly had poo poo waitress/cook jobs until halfway through the show when they got grown up jobs.

Chandler and Ross are the only ones with real jobs from the beginning.

Phoebe never had a real job.
