This is probably a stupid question, but does your graphic quality setting affect load times? I have it set to medium and I know that my computer is not ideal for the game, but the game runs well apart from the minutes long load times before and after combat.

I am playing the Dwarf campaign on easy and the Greenskins are kicking my butt, so much so that my campaign is pretty much over. Perhaps i made a mistake in convincing another Dwarf faction to join me, those 5-6 additional cities just made me spread thin, and the increasing chaos corruption made morale a problem. But the Greenskins just seem to have two armies for everyone i kill.

I don't really like playing dwarves and I have been trying to figure out why. I find the mountain roads to be annoying, even with underground movement it takes to long to get anywhere. Also with Vampire Counts and Chaos I liked the various monster units, dragon ogres, hex wraiths and the such. I like the tough dwarf infantry but they just feel very similar, and most of their unique units are inferior to those.

I am running around with an army that is only consists of doom diver catapults, when i autocomplete the battles i win easily every time, but when i play manually i either barely win against easy opponents or lose. Can anyone guess as to what the computer is doing right that i am not?
