who gives a gently caress what you drink? the point is the same: get drunk enough to temporarily get past the psychological walls you've built since your childhood so you can, for just a brief moment, feel something. grieve for your father, cry with joy for the birth of your children, feel decades old repressed heartbreak, and truly experience an emotional state even if it's a painful one. liquor works best though.

I've really, really tried to get into wine; it's not for lack of trying. I just can't get into it, they all taste pretty bad IMO. Beer for flavor and to drink with meals, liquor to get hosed up.

WIne is better with a rare steak than any other type of alcohol. Every other type of alcohol is better at any other time. Unless there is a cheese and fruit selection. Then wine is also acceptable.
