It'll be interesting if they 'force' games to run at 4k on Scorpio, because there is no way that every game is going to be able to push 60 FPS @ 4k on what is roughly a Titan X. Anyway, with a release at Holiday 2017, it means they are only roughly 2 years behind mainstream PC gaming and 3 years behind bleeding edge PC gaming. Not bad MS. Bought an Xbox One last month for 350, with two controllers and three titles (rare, tomb raider, master chief) and I feel like I made the right call. Sony is still my go-to console provider, so the Xbox One is for the handful of exclusives that don't migrate to Sony. And no, I don't have a gaming PC.

So what is going to be MS's big AAA game for Holiday 2017 to launch with Scorpio? Gears of War 4 is coming this November Halo 6 isn't coming until Holiday 2018 Rare has been gutted and their struggling to make a sailing simulator MMO Is it just going to be the next Forza and maybe rush job Halo 3 Anniversary by Saber Interactive? I hope they have something good

There's a lot of nuance to the question so it's impossible to give a generalized yes/no answer. A GeForce GTX 980 which is like a $600 card with 4 gigs of VRAM runs Witcher 3 at 4K with Medium graphics settings about the same as an Xbone currently runs the game at 900p.
