From all accounts I've seen the chugging was an artifact of the stream and not the demo itself. I haven't seen anyone who's played the game said the framerate was dropping much.

I thought it was really cool that they brought all the context sensitive moves from WW and put them into TP so you could do them whenever, I think it added a lot to the combat system I did not like that all the enemies were drooling morons and could never kill you in a million years, rendering the improved combat pointless

Not all of them of course, but that mix of pessimism and hyperbolic anger exists across the spectrum, not just in one group. It's more pronounced in some groups, but that's almost certainly because those groups are bigger and more visible, not because its exclusive to or even really any more prominent in those groups. Yeah, true.
