If you watch this video they show off the edge of the Plateau. There's a massive wall around it. Basically it looks like they've sealed off this entire section of Hyrule.
Cannot wait to explore the lore of this world.

Holy poo poo when they start putting markers on the map and show you just how absolutely gigantic Hyrule is.

I love this. It's like the young guns at Nintendo are really starting to have their voices heard and his like Aunoma are really listening.

As long as the game has a whole bunch of dungeons (Preferably 8) then I don't care what they do~

Yeah this, shrines are cool and all but if you're pulling Majora's Mask "We only have four dungeons and two of them suck" bullshit then I'm not going to be happy. If they claim dungeons have been replaced with exploring the world then Zelda has replaced the thing I play Zelda for with the thing I don't play every other open world game for.

There are 100 shrines on top of dungeons.

I'm super cool with that, but the only 'traditional' thing I hope they keep is having 8 dungeons.
I just want to play this game for thousands of hours and never stop :allears:

I want to see the NX console itself, launch lineup, and the NX version of BotW to see if there's any major differences.

If there's nothing major between the 2, I think BotW will be the perfect swan song for the WiiU.

My theory is the entire plateau has been sealed off somehow for a century. If you look at videos the fortification extends around the entire outside of it, probably to protect the entire area from outside intervention.

The Temple you see as you leave the cave at the beginning is the Temple of Time. So it's probably awoken Link now that the time is right or the magic has finally weakened.
Def a Hero of Time story, just doing it the long way around this time.

The Old Man is actually Old Link.

The new Link clone has awoken and it is his turn to attempt to save Hyrule. Old Link will impart what little he can to ensure the New Link is more prepared than he was last time he was cloned

It's basically Groundhog Day/Edge of Tomorrow but with clones!

Things I must admit before starting Breath of the Wild

I have not played the following Zelda titles :negative:

Console games
Majora's Mask - Not played at all
Windwaker - Got like... 80% of the way through the main story
Skyward Sword - Missed it entirely

Handhelds
Oracle series - Not touched at all. I have them on my 3DS tho.. should play.
Minish Cap - Remember emulating it, but not getting far into it
Spirit Tracks - Like... 90% of the way through it.

Never touched the 4 Swords or TriForce Heroes games.

:negative:

Currently replaying Link Between Worlds on Hero difficulty and it is as fun as it was the first time.
