Sunday, Nov 22rd, I will stream some very rare stuff, mainly "Saiki's disastrous life," a live action rendition of the anime/manga that never hit DVD, as well as at least one episode of the original "Young GTO" anime, which a friend of mine ripped from a VHS collection and hard coded subtitles to. Also, a copy of a DBZ movie(if this was a card game I'd put the other two at holographic super ultra 3 star and this one at 1star non foil) from 1989. Movies start at 3pm, and I'll update this post with a link when I wake up. Today, the 22rd, at 3pm est, competing against the one posted below. Also! Keeping up the proud tradition of idol anime marathons on New Year's Day, next Friday we're streaming: Idolish7!!!  We're going to watch the first season + the OVA shorts, with a post-marathon screening of the 1st Live Day 1 (unsubbed). If there's interest, we might do season 2 another day.     Perhaps our friendly neighborhood Squark can chime in with something more concrete, but Idolish7 holds a worthy position among my favorite animes of all time. Its characters are charming, their struggles are in turn relatable and wonderfully melodramatic, and it has an absolute mastery of contrasting high drama and comedic relief. The OVAs have perhaps the single funniest episode of anime I've ever seen. Setting aside Love Live, which I'm incapable of being objective about, it's hands down my favorite idol anime. Even if you're not into cute anime boys, you should join us for this one (and if you are into cute anime boys, you really should join us).
