Moving forward you see the expected curve in the path, the generous spacing used to pile up garbage around which several shadows loiter, a few running back and forth(or surging, at least!) and hopping, wooing. Split-second flickers between this Other City and reality suggest you're walking between groups of amateur bikers showing off stunts using these generous back roads.




Any way you go is blocked, positively filled with manifestations to fight! The mural on the wall depicts a popping view of the ocean and for a second you can swear that you hear the gentle blow of a seaside breeze... but a soft chill reminds you that it's real as the wind blows at a gentle but steady pace.

Arcana: You don't detect anything unusual about what looks like a video game classic. The barrels are massive, alley blocking walls, dragged into position as indicated by jagged scratches in the street. The wind occasionally rolls along the top of a row and produces an eerie little howl, suggesting they're empty. Which is preposterous, as you know they should be filled with random explosives. They are red, after all.

The ocean mural is surprisingly detailed for pixelated graffiti and you almost expect the waves to gently ebb and flow. Seems to be the sensation of the frequent winds causing a trick of the eyes,.

With explosive bursts of energy and outrageously loud revving great shadows race down the alley and rocket by the trails on the ground, one of them surging ahead of the others and hurtling towards Akio with a blazing Shadow at the helm! A tall Shadow with eyes of molten fury stands at a chariot, commanding a pair of shackled bikes as though they were beasts!



He brandishes a length of chain as he passes and goes for Akio's torso in the passing! Miraculously, Akio's instincts lead him to duck! The other two Bikes pause and Rev, the three Marking their intended targets. In the Biker's passing some of the electrical energy discharges harmlessly! The Fuschia Biker has Marked Akio! The Green Biker Marks Tsukiyo! The Yellow Biker Marks Itsumi!

Akio curses under his breath as he realizes he's not quick enough to intercept the attacks, but maybe he hadn't completely failed as a tank, and as a boyfriend, just yet.

He pulls out his phone from his pocket and holds it out to his side as he gives it a tap. In a swirl of blue light it transforms, taking the shape of a silver longsword, its metal polished to a flawless mirror sheen. Without wasting any time he gestures with his free hand, causing bright motes of magic to appear around the sword as he lifts the tip from the ground and points it right at the Oni wielding the lightning bat. He focuses intently on his target, willing the motes to shoot off from the blade at high speed to flit around her like a swarm of blue fireflies as she bears down on Noriko. Just a fraction of a second before the aluminium bat makes contact, Akio clenches his fist hard, digging his nails into his palm and yells at the top of his lungs, "Denied!"

The spell takes effect, sending the Oni on an instantaneous dimensional jaunt as space warps around her, making her appear behind her ally and smacking her in the back with her bat!

Immediate Interrupt: Dimensional Vortex vs Lesser Oni (Blue): 1d20+19 37 vs Will, hit! Lesser Oni (Blue) is teleported into the fire at FB28, taking 6 fire damage, then makes the attack against Lesser Oni (Red) instead of Noriko! (Damage to Noriko is negated.)

Friday - Other City (#beatthemidterms)

Feeling equal parts excited for an old school beat'em up mindscape, and annoyed at just how many trash enemies lie between the group and the elder Chavez sibling, Takashi decides to make the best of it and work on some achievements with the rest of his friends. Getting stronger before doing the big bad was a core mechanic in RPGs, so why should this place be any different?

Snapping at a passing biker, .attak lets out a throaty growl and approaches the nearest Oni, her fiery aura washing over the magma dog like a summer day. Takashi pulls out his cellphone, opening up the Nippon Baseball League (NBL) app and tapping over to the Kobe Buffaloes game in progress he is missing. Emboldened by their lead over the Yokohama BayStars, a ridiculously over-sized baseball bat manifests in his free hand, thrumming with otherworldly might, "Time to knock these punks out of the park!"

Moving his free hand like he is tossing up a ball, he winds up the swing with all his might. A shimmering globe of blue force comes into being, rapidly descending! With a whip-crack of evaporating air the bat connects, sending the ball rocketing past the nearby Oni into the alley wall. A twhip sound precedes a thunderous boom when the ball detonates, supremely off target.

Akio flinches as the biker's chain passes overhead, he could even hear the wooshing sound of the near miss over the thundering roar of the engines. These guys weren't messing around! Ever cool-headed, Ambrose immediately capitalizes on the opening in the biker's defenses, delivering a decisive cut into the shadow's back as he passes by, and carves a tear in space at the same time. With a flash the three of them blink away, reappearing a few meters further up the alley.

Okay, okay. Akio takes a sec to take stock of the situation and take a breath. "I'll try to set them up for the achievement. Focus on weakening the Onis, then we eliminate the bikers once we get it!"

Alright, let's go! "Kraken!" Akio calls, and a dark murky whirlpool appears on the ground, from which a massive tentacle emerges. It curls back languorously, then suddenly surges forward and slams down hard on the nearby Oni! Meanwhile, Ambrose waves with his hand, marking the biker and the lightning Oni with the Aegis. Akio then holds his sword as if to strike the biker in front of him, but closes his eyes and focuses. His form suddenly scatters in a shower of white rose petals, and he teleports behind the two Onis, slashing with his sword as he appears, cutting into the fiery one before anyone has a chance to react!

He looks at the biker behind the two demons and grits his teeth. The anticipation of pain was almost worse than the pain itself. Hopefully this would work.

I take a boosted 12 Fire Damage from Lesser Oni's aura.

Flinching as reality catches up to her gaming mentality, she feels her heart flutter as Akio saves her from danger once again. doki-doki! Blushing, she stammers out "th-thanks!" as she deftly sidesteps the Red Oni's whiffing attack. Shifting away, she flips through her list of emergency spells for a clutch immobilize and pulls up an old favorite she'd specced out of. The Helm of Awe burning bright in the air across her forehead, a maze of illusions surround the Red and Blue Oni, shadowy figures in Naoki uniforms shouting taunts and swiping at them from the sides. (Both are immobilized and take -4 to attacks UEONT)

Roaring into action, each of the Bikers surges towards their targets, ignoring everything in their path! They rub out some of the fire and bolts and actually run over their allies... as well as their marks! In the impact shadows erupt from beneath the motorcycle frames and ensnare those struck, Knocking them Prone and Immobilizing(Save Ends DC 12, Can't Stand While Immobilized) all hit! The impact is no love-tap either... Akio and two Onis take 20 Physical Damage, Tsukiyo takes 18 Physical Damage and Itsumi and the last Oni take 13 Physical Damage! You hear Ryuka cheer and your phones ding as you unlock an *Achievement*~! The Bikers rev up as they prepare for... well, you're not quite sure. They reapply Marks to Akio(Fuschia), Tsukiyo(Green) and Itsumi(Yellow.)

Understandably upset, the Onis lash out at their nearest targets but come up short! Sunbright narrowly parries the Orange Oni's brutal strike(-2 to Attack causes Miss!) You witness a curious reaction... the entangled Onis bathe the Bikers in their elemental auras, revealing twin Fire and Lightning Weaknesses of an extra-potent variety(Double Damage Taken!)



Uh oh! Looks like the rest of the loitering toughs have caught up to the action! White gusts of cold air come from the vague mouth of the undefined Shadow wearing the Mask of an Empress, intent on approaching for dramatic transformation...

... things flicker briefly. You've walked past the unconscious bodies of punks you've thrashed. Then you're standing in an alley in the real Kobe, brandishing trash you've picked up on your way to trade blows with angry Nekketsu toughs! An older senior girl wearing a biking gang's jacket is stalking towards you flanked by a dozen toughs, all giving you an icy glare!...

... things warp back to the Other City and all is shadow again! A great deal of these male Shadows are wearing matching Tengu masks. The wind rustling through the alley rises for a moment but passes quickly, chilling you further. Two of the Oni(Orange and Blue) manage to tear themselves free of the chains! They remain Prone due to this being an End of Turn Save.

: "USE MY FIREBALL YOU BAKAS" You get the feeling Ryuka is trying to tell you something but it's unclear what.

As the fuzzy line between reality and the digital space begins to become apparent for a moment, Noriko feels a pang of worry, overwhelmed by the thrilling realization she was really kicking rear end in an alleyway brawl. With a broad gesture, the shadows around her disperse and form into a wide circle around the attacking bikers, a magic circle burning into the ground before erupting in a hazy smoke that seems transparent to her friends but as thick as smog to her foes. Shadowy Naoki brawlers continue the fight, swinging whatever they can conjure up in the fear center of their target's brains. As the withering assault continues, the shadows around her contort as she calls Hecatoncheir, a hundred shadowy appendages working the mudra of Mamudoon. With the blistering combo she manages to drop the Fuscia biker, smirking as he hits the pavement. "wrecked."

"Great shots, Noriko-chan, Mori-chan!! Now let me clean up this mess!"

Dropping the gleaming force bat, Takashi joins his faithful war hound in the fray. As he squares up with both oni, the surging electricity around the blue devil arcs out and across the dog and boy both, clearly doing damage. Undeterred, he rabbit punches the crouched red oni straight in the nose, sending her backwards into her ally. The beast is waiting, leaping on the pair like a new toy, keeping them helplessly pinned. Without pause, Takashi does a series of quick, brutal kicks into their trapped midsections, ending with a sweeping kick to across their temples send them off to sleep. Defeated, they collapse like empty sacks.

Not satisfied with this carnage, .attak bounds off towards the remaining oni accosting Itsumi and Sunbright, only just catching it in his prodigious maw! The boy is no more than fractional seconds behind, holding his hand out to once again coalesce the glowing baseball bat. As the superior thug steps up to the plate, .attak serves the red form into the air. With a target so thoroughly open like this, it is little wonder when Takashi's swing connects, sending the deflated oni into the nearby biker with some force.

"Always got your back, Itsumi-chan." winking at her, Takashi's trademark smile is in full effect. The big dog 'bwoofs' his assent.

Noticing Noriko's reaction to his timely interruption, Akio looks over to her and smirks somewhat bashfully. "It was nothi-" he manages before he's summarily run over by the biker and thrown to the ground in agony, the achievement ding ringing harshly in his ears.

The short vision of the real world flickering by his eyes leaves him paralyzed for the briefest of moments. Why hadn't he realized it sooner? Unlike Other Naoki there weren't any glass coffins here! It seemed like only Genjuro's friend had been placed in one. Did that mean that everyone they fought so far had been hurt in the normal world? He felt queasy at the thought of what their supernatural powers could have done to the people they had beaten, especially after witnessing what Bishop had done to Takamura... Hopefully it was more like when they had fought Hideaki's shadow. He had turned out alright, after all.

Shaking the doubts out of his head, he realizes the enemies nearby had been dealt with already, but he still found himself chained down by the shadows. He looks over at the biker in front of him and concentrates, and then suddenly he's there, free from the shackles but still lying on the ground. But before he has a chance to climb to his feet, his avatar has already stabbed the biker in the back and weaved a quick spell by drawing a sign in the air with his free hand, turning them both invisible and teleporting them further up the alley.

"Um, I'll hold them at bay while you take care of the remaining shadows behind us!" Akio calls from the ground where he lies, feeling a bit inelegant and awkward. But then again, what else is new.

"Crap, this is just like what happened with Manami!" A sudden chill comes to Tsukiyo as she watches the realities unfold and warp around themselves, a sudden realization appearing on her mind, a dire one that makes her almost forgive the shadowy impact that hits her head. "GOD drat IT I came here to stop Brother from beating up those jackasses and it ended up that I'm doing it for him!" She grunts as her avatar materializes in thin air, a piece of construction masonry on her hand that is immediately used to smash the biker in front of her into a fine line of paste.

"Gah!!! I don't even know how I'll explain this to Miss Miyuki!" The poor girl clenches her head as she advances forward, subconsciously oblivious about the massive skeleton whale appearing above her head and sending a blast of lighting towards a throng of Tengu-masked delinquents (yet missing them) while she's too occupied with her thoughts.

(Everybody's up, next round Friday Night/Saturday Morning!)

Tsukiyo: You cannot move while immobilized. You Save against the chains and are no longer immobilized, but you are still prone.

Your group sweeps away this chaff! Horned girls in tiger-print gear fall around you, motorcycle chariots crash into the alley walls and explode in bursts of shadow! All that remains is a single Biker that lets his engine rev down to a low hum.



Then he peels out! Igniting a wicked donut, the Biker Shifts backwards with a mighty backdraft of flame and raw power washing over Takashi and Itsumi! They evade the brunt of it and take 1 Force Damage and 3 Fire Damage! The Biker wheelies backwards a fair distance and casts his Mark on Noriko, revving loudly!

As the other thugs close in the Tengu draw upon the winds and surge forward, rushing down Tsukiyo and Akio! Shrouded by his usual powerful magics Akio is able to parry all strikes, but can feel some of that defense fading away(-4 Defense for 4 Strikes UEONT without being reapplied!) Tsukiyo trips up the first Tengu to approach but the second cracks her across the side of the head from above with a nail-bait in a spray of blood and 21 Critical Physical Damage!

The Magi double-move up and begin to charge elemental energies. The Inciters follow the Empress as she steps up and removes her mask, doubling the cold winds blowing down the alley as the darkness erupts into a beautiful ghostly woman! Visibility falls save for the air around her and you all feel a biting cold making your bones ache... and it's getting worse! Everyone takes 4 Cold Damage! She lets out a high Ohohohohohohoho~ as she raises a single hand and begins to conjure up swirling masses of crystalline ice! From either side an Inciter steps up beside their leader and lay hands on her shoulders, channeling power into her. She cackles and unleashes one, two, three perfect volleys of crashing ice into the sky! With a flicker and a howl of wind they crash down around Akio! Once! Twice! And then they zero in pass the obscuring, the empowered defenses! And shatter across his back, dealing 15 Physical Damage! ... And that's it! The buoyancy of Kraken washes away all the ice like so much debris on the surface of the endless sea. What is a glacier to the ocean?!

Noriko's heart pounds as she hears the screech of tires, feeling a lurching sensation in her stomach, she freezes up as the biker zips past her and whirls around to make a new attack. she seems to fall into herself, overwhelmed with anxiety until she feels something tugging her back into the moment, a familiar presence in her mind. Memento-Mori whispered something in her ear that sent a chill up her spine: we know fear. share it.

Noriko whirls around on one heel and stares down the charging biker as she presses one of the sharper charms on a charm bracelet into the palm of her hand. Dabbing her finger with blood, she draws a line across her forehead, with a stripe where her third eye would be. "amon, great marquise, shower of things past and to come, let mine enemy share the suffering of my memory, so that they might know the future that awaits them. ultimate heroic illusion magic: phantasmal killer."

Veiled in shadow, her form and her avatar's seem superimposed on one another as a black rose unfurls itself in her hand, held only for a moment before being propelled through the air, effortlessly piercing through the Biker's chest and extending it's metaphorical tentacles into his heart. At once, the spell goes to work, a thin thread flashing between Noriko and her target as the biker screeches to a stop. She doesn't bother to work an illusion, pulling purely from vivid memory; the screech of tires on pavement, swerving to miss, the jolt. breaking glass, screams, the sensation of being thrown through the air. the vivid sights of fire and blood and death. The biker clutches onto his head as Noriko slowly strides towards him, a cold expression on her face as she draws deep from inside. they will see Mori's voice whispers in her ear as the second assault begins. Rolling across pavement. breaking bones. gravel caught in the skin. can't move. more screams, different screams. crying. the smell of burning flesh. smoke... the screaming stops.

Noriko/Mori stops a few paces from her foe. "weak." she says, as the shadows around Mori stretch out into long, shadowy appendages. "get a new hobby." She turns on her heel and steps through her shadow as Hecatoncheir's hundred hands weave Mamudoon once more, the curse sending another Biker to the ground.

Lifting up, blood dripping from her forehead, Tsukiyo's eyes are completely crimson red. Anxiety, pain, fear... All of these have been dulled by the sheer fury that is welling within her heart, fury that manifests as electric sparks start to surround her body. "I HAD ENOUGH OF YOU SMALL FRY! GET OUT OF MY WAY!" She lifts her bokken in the air, with Flagelo doing the same with the massive sword in her hand, as lightning from the heavens descends towards it, supercharging the blade! "ESTILO ESPADA DIVINA: [KAMINARI-NO-TSURUGI!]" She yells as the sword descends into the floor, sending a massive electrical blast towards three of the Tengu, vaporizing one instantly and heavily damaging the others. "FOLLOWUP STRIKE!" With a kiai, Flagelo's sword bisects the second Tengu in front of her.

Akio climbs to his feet, rubbing his back where the chunk of ice slammed down on him. "Ow..." He'd probably look a bit ragged if it wasn't for the invisibility that still shrouded him for a moment longer. Looks like it went mostly as planned, he thinks to himself as the Tengus crowd around him. Time to get out of here, and punish.

Ambrose nods in assent to the unspoken words, striking swiftly at a nearby tengu, effortlessly bypassing his defenses with his invisible spellblade. Teleporting free from the melee, Akio calls on the Kraken to doom the still grouped up tengus to a watery grave. A whirling vortex of freezing water appears underneath their feet, dragging two of them down into the icy depths below to face their untimely demise.

Smiling in satisfaction, Akio returns to the visible spectrum just as Ryuka begins screeching over the phone. He grimaces badly at the shrill noise in his ears. "Fine, fine, throw your fireball at the Ghost then!" He replies.

Itsumi blinks in terror as she sees the flicker to the real world, with real Nekketsu students writhing on the ground. As soon as she flashes back to Other World she sheds her chains and stands up. "Akio! Hey! Be careful!" she yells as she points to him, once again bathing him in the warm yellow light. She then rushes towards the Tengu Toughs that were attacking him, with Sunbright running her spear into one of them. As she pulls it out, Itsumi yells into her phone at Ryuka "Hey! Drop that fireball NOW!".

Overwhelmed by terror, the Biker quivers in psychic lockdown before the engines overload and violently explodes, the shadow fading away and leaving behind a flaming mess... that casts a giant shadow from a tiny rabbit-dragon midget!

: "Okay, fine! But first of all, you need to know that a giant fireball is not cliche! It is simple and effective!" You can hear Ryuka snort over the phone and snap her fingers (what's the point of that...), causing the streets to instantly erupt in boiling flames from below. Jets of fire and debris shoot into the sky repeatedly, slowly coalescing into a massive ball of flame. "Now then..." The ball suddenly expands to twice its size, as Ryuka shifts into her painful Lyth voice. "Zilant's Fury... Grand Annihilation!!" The roaring ball of destruction slams into whatever the gently caress it's aimed at, exploding outward with hellish speed. A smouldering crater is left behind as 'Lyth' remarks, "See? Much better than all of that stuff you've been doing up 'til now, right? Should have called on me sooner!" Ryuka Hits All! for 22 Fire Damage!! with a boost to 27 on the Ghost(Fire Weakness!!!) (This attack written by Poultron Age 10)

The wounded Magi move about, the one near Takashi Shifting away from him after his impact causes its incorporal form to waver(Force Weakness!) They raise their hands and conjure up pagan sigils before unleashing waves of elemental energy! Two flash across the around around Takashi, but a wave of force bolts strikes Itsumi for 16 Force Damage!

Reality flickers again as flashes of real life imagery cut in between the volleys of ice the Ghost and her Inciters send at Akio! One moment the repeated chunks of ice are crashing into his shoulders and back from above, and in another, much realer moment the punk girl has closed the distance at lightning speed and stabbed Akio in the stomach with a switch-blade! Real... fake... Other City imposes itself over the action as Akio suffers 47 Physical Damage!

The remaining sinister Birb Boyes glide about and rush fresh targets, attacking Itsumi and Akio. Tengu Orange violates Akio's mark! Itsumi suffers -1 Defense UEONT without Tengu Attack and Akio rises to -5 Defense UEONT without Tengu Attack!

Everyone, absent entering the eye of the storm, you suffer a rising 8 Cold Damage from the Ghost's Biting Winds!

Akio's eyes shoot open wide in shock as the switch-blade sinks into his guts, and he has a hard time understanding what the hell just happened. "Huh?..." He looks down and places his hand on his stomach where the knife had entered him, and starts feeling faint. "I got... stabbed? In real life?" Shivering, he falls to one knee. He'd known that it was dangerous, to be fighting in this world, but it hadn't really felt real until now. But now it certainly did, and it was terrifying.

In contrast, Ambrose keeps his composure and continues fighting without missing a beat, albeit with a strained expression from the damage taken. He bests the Tengu that had been harrying them and cuts him down with his sword, then teleports them further up field. Taking out the Guardian's Whistle from his inventory, he blows on it, summoning Memento-Mori and Noriko to his side.

Knowing that he had to fight back to survive, Akio raises a trembling hand and points at the Ghost and her lackeys. "K-kraken," he calls, causing a deluge of freezing water to crash into them.

Suffering Tengu Damage: 1d8+8 15 damage from the Tengu's attack that should've hit me with my lowered defenses.

Weaving forward through dumb wizard trickery, .attak and Takashi collide with the nearest nerdlinger with a mighty *thwack* of fist and stone, sending it to the pavement. Momentum unhindered by the minor obstacle, they continue forward toward the next one. In a complicated maneuver, the hound goes low, the boy goes high, and inexplicably, the giant red monkey comes from above. When sneaker, tooth, and metal rod connect the air *whumps* with force for a second before revealing another fallen magi!

Plucking another baseball from his phone, Takashi bats it gently towards the ghost and her friends where it comes to rest beneath them... rather harmlessly.

As Noriko appears in FD 21, she immediately fires her held spell, sharp brambles, blooming with black roses tear up through the earth, the shadowy tendrils grasping at the legs of her attackers as a persistent gloom sweeps through the area. Feeling an enemy's disbelief, she pours more energy into the spell, wincing from the pain as it racks her body, but easily landing her attack.

Far away from her Crow as she is, the magic binding him seems to waver for a moment, before the Crow disappears in a puff of feathers. A moment later her bag begins to shift and the crow pokes his head out to watch the ongoing battle. (Crow enters passive mode and leaves the map)

Cutting down your enemies who collapse in piles of feathers, floppy hats and bouncing coins, you close in for the kill! The Green Magi dances around her superior's aura before flinging a spitting ball of acid at Takashi, missing hilariously wide. Perhaps this sets up for the crashing barrage of ice that lands squarely, smashing him right between the shoulder blades for 17 Physical + 16 Cold Damage!

The Ghost and her follower remain stationary, waiting for your approach. Usually this sort of overwhelming advantage would end with your easy win but the calm eye of the storm and the terms of the achievement force you to hesitate. The cutting winds have built to an overwhelming flurry of 12 Cold Damage to All Players with no signs of abating!

Directing a steely gaze at the ghost, Ambrose runs the palm of his hand along the sharp edge of his longsword, soaking it with his own blood. As the blood seeps into the cracks of the runes carved into Ame-no-Murakumo, they flare alight with a bright blue glow, and the blade bursts into a blinding silver flame! Ambrose lifts the sword over his head, then brings it down with a broad diagonal slash, carving a crescent wave of fire in the air that shoots off towards the Ghost, engulfing her with purifying fire and burning her to ash!

Ambrose coldly turns his back on her as she burns, and sheathes his sword with a flourish. Then he blinks out of existence, dispersing into the aether.

Akio, meanwhile, is sitting on the ground panting, cold sweat dripping off his brow, his heart beating like a drum. "...was that real? gently caress..."

Friday - Other City (#beatthemidterms)

Getting a face full of ice just serves to aggravate the giant fiery dog! What kind of idiot would make a dog mad!? Apparently this one. As his friends shut off the source of the increasingly bitter winds that threaten to turn his blood to ice, Takashi and .attak move to end the remaining threat. Rushing up to the magi, tons of magma and fangs bear it to the ground, searing saliva slopping over the slumped figure.

Takashi walks up casually, the resonating baseball bat laid casually over his shoulder, and offers some wisdom, "This town is Naoki turf now. Remember that," before bringing his foot down like an anvil on the fallen magi.

She gently presses her hand onto the wound on his stomach, her hand glowing and causing the wound to magically mend. "Hey! There you go! You've got to be more careful next time, Akio! The last thing I want to see is you get hurt." Her hand lingers for a second longer after the wound is healed before she steps back, smiling at him.

Akio can spend a surge and heal an extra Ardent Surge: 3d6 9!

I'll try, I just didn't think I was going to get myself stabbed..." When her hand lingers, he looks at her, seeming confused for a moment, then blushes and looks away. "But, I mean, uh... it's my role to tank the hits, right? So if it hadn't been me, then someone else would've gotten hurt instead, someone who might not have been able to take it... With two pleasant dings your achievements pop up on your phones. The bouncing coins taken from your fallen foes are easily gathered, practically gliding to your hands where they dissolve with a pleasing warmth and you can feel that somehow your personal wealth has gone up. You clear to the end of the alleyway that the thugs were blocking and discover... a small old house! Reality flickers back to the city of Kobe as a middle aged man steps out to thank you, passing you a bag overflowing with golden coins a small yen note to "treat yourselves for showing those punks some manners, like back in my day!" He heads back inside and you tally your well-earned loot! There's also the two treasure chests hidden behind the toughs!

The remains of the Ghost girl dissolve to a pile of soft snow gently swirled around a beautiful piece of jewelry... but from the remains of the last flaming heap of the Biker shadows emerges a glorious spirit that revs dramatically, a Shadow purified.

"LET US RIDE, COMRADES"

One of you may immediately swap Support Personas to use this new one!

You've still got a long way to go to reach Naoki! And Genjuro had a head start... the chill winds that have been shadowing you are getting chillier, too! A powerful gust blows through the alley and upends one of the empty trash cans at the end of the alley. It rattles the chain leftover from the battle... this is two trash cans and a chain you could carry for your next encounter, it seems! The heavy blowing of the wind draws the gaze of one of you looking through the ruby lenses... you could swear that the massive graffiti of the shore above you is actually bringing in the tide! Subtle waves move and end on the beach before receding.

Nearby you hear the Shadows themselves murmur and shout. Snippets of the real world cut in as the voices of young teenagers shout excitedly. "There's people startin' poo poo!" "They're beating up groups!" "What the Hell?!" "I HEAR PERVERT BANCHOU'S HERE!" "gently caress THAT GUY." "GET MORE BOYS AND GET A FEW GIRLS, WE'LL GET HIM!" The Shadows of Other City force themselves back in behind a veil of static and some of the creatures to the North leave.

: "Hahahaha, oh my God, we could grind here all night... I get gold too, you know! Don't let up! Don't let up! Do you really need ALL your surges, Ambrose?! You're the TANK!!! Suck it up!"

But alas, how you proceed remains up to you. You haven't even tested the locked door that would take you above and over the menacing Shadows in the North Alley. Of course, you left quite a few Shadows back in the Park Square you originally came through! But Genjuro's malice hangs heavy over your thoughts... and the wind is still slowly building.
