I've been slacking with my art as of late. Experienced some heartbreak, so I guess a strong emotional response was the push I needed to create. It's a hot summer down here in NOLA, this is my plan to stay cool and beat the heat. I'm loving delicious. Gonna submit this, or some iteration of it to a local zine.

Not too many calls at work over the 4th of July weekend which meant more time to doodle at my desk.. I too thought of Iced Cream  4th on the mind  I'd rather be at the beach  The only guy happy about the heat  Just in time for June...  This guy thinks the kid can't take the heater  Heatstroke  I think the heat is getting to me.

Whelp, got a new project to work on at school for Summer Camp. Our theme is based on old stories and fairy tales, so I'm making cards to represent basic character archetypes. Here's what I've come up with today.

Is that font just a placeholder, or is it gonna be the final version? As is, it's super generic and boring. Additionally, I'd shift it to the left a bit more so it's more centered with the overall composition.
