 Okay I'm now well over 100 sign ups received. You can use the LW Toolbox mod to seamlessly change the squad cap in game. I mentioned to jade there was a mod that gives EXP to soldiers that don't go on missions so that more people can die and the A-team's death won't be a game ruining scenario but he's very confident that things will turn out A-OK

I did the same thing in my unmodded campaign. More dudes fighting means easier fights and more dudes leveling up faster thus even easier fights.

Worst come to worst, you can always install the LW Toolbox, crank squad size up to max, and see if a squad of 10-12 rookies with base gear can take on a Very Difficult mission without all dying~
