My mom called me the very second Bernie dropped out, possibly to gloat, I’m not sure, but when she asked me “so now you’re voting for Biden?” and she seemed genuinely surprised at me when I went “no, I’m done with the election, I don’t care about politics anymore because politics does not care about me and Joe Biden represents me and my views on healthcare and immigration and criminal justice reform about as well as Trump does. I don’t think Biden will change the way I live for the better and I don’t think he is appreciably different from Trump on any issue that matters.” She was positively baffled, but I told her I don’t feel represented at all by either candidate and I’m not gritting my teeth and voting for Hilary again. Biden doesn’t have a single position that engages me, that’s his fault, not mine.

FYI Reade filed a police report about Biden’s sexual assault. The penalty for knowingly filing a false report is severe, so she’s basically saying “I am so serious about my accusation that I am willing to go to jail over it.” that’s...pretty significant IMO.

This is Sus and the Star Wars episodes have been excellent content. Matt Chrissman slowly shrinking into an irritable corncob has been less than enjoyable. The media is jealous of Chapo because all of their production value and exploding jet eagles and chyrons failed to engender any kind of emotional response that’s even one tenth of the humanity and relatability of a bunch of misfit academics just loving around in their apartments. They became a voice of movement simply by saying out loud what other people wanted instead trying to tell people what they wanted, and the media can not afford to let things change that way.

Felix’s sister is a great addition but content wise they are the same, and I only started listening to Chapo for Felix and Virgil in the first place so its more or less exactly the content I crave. Amber was doing mostly Bernie stuff and wasn’t in like the first 5 episodes I listened to. Matt bugs me but is so well read I still listen. I literally forget Will is on the show whenever he is not speaking. I cannot ascribe any form of personality to him, he just seems like every single dude who bought weed from me at UPenn who would take two puffs at a party and sit quietly in the corner until his girlfriend or boyfriend was ready to leave the party.
