Sold out in Houston before the cut off at 5 and there was a pretty long line and they had people going through like they were on a conveyor belt, scanning QR codes and handing bags with them inside and giving some Houston themed coasters too

One of my two cats was infatuated with it too, her brother didn't give a poo poo and was sleeping

So how easy is it to just add in games and keep the same interface? Is it hard to brick this thing because I absolutely need to get another controller to play some BLADES. OF. STEEL. which is the best sports game ever made fyi

The steps in that video worked beautifully too, went from 30 games to about 650, can't wait to play through the Earthbound prototype and Tecmo Super Bowl when I'm chilling with people

One of the few benefits to not being in the area for me personally is I never have to hear that loving Fly, Eagles, Fly song

I only have to listen to Houston Texans fans justify liking an absolute trash team that everyone throws parties for if they just happen to maybe have a slight chance to barely stumble into the playoffs because their standards are so low they're next to dinosaur bones lmbo

At least the N64 classic won't be hard to get. Cuz the games suck. There are...what? 4 good games? "good"

Ogre Battle 64 or bust

And perfect dark too with four players and all

If either of them are missing then hell no I'm not getting one and I'm pretty sure perfect dark won't end up on a not-microsoft system but I could be wrong

Except they're not going to put either of them because GoldenEye will never see the light of day again and Perfect Dark is Microsoft's.

And it really sucks because Perfect Dark holds up well as a shooter (well, with that mouse aiming and 60fps hack haha) and the multiplayer is still my favorite of any console shooter. MeatSims are hilarious.

Most 64 games do not hold up well, but I'm sure having a non-broken rear end joystick and clearer picture would go a long way. Maybe they can be crazy and do something like include the Resident Evil 2 port? That was really good and had stuff in it that never made it to other systems

The N64 was a bad console that got its poo poo pushed in by a CD player that couldn't render a textured polygon right two frames in a row.

I totally acknowledge the shortcomings of the N64 but if I had to go back and time and do it differently, I don't believe I would. Being a kid and having four controller ports without the use of an adapter made sports games and shooters a ton of fun.

Man, if they had only used CD's...

Would have been a hell of a console. Third parties still would have run to Sony and MS, though, If there's one thing to learn from the Genesis, another shitbox that benefitted from Nintendo's blind spots, it's that it really didn't take much for third parties to peace the gently caress out of doing business with Nintendo.

There would have been more cross-platform porting going on, too, but IIRC wasn't the 64 a pain in the rear end to develop for? Sony still would have emerged as the victor perhaps, but it likely would have been a closer race and Nintendo wouldn't have hamstrung themselves on stupid poo poo like the 64DD which I'd imagine took up resources that would have been better spent elsewhere

I was talking with my brother about games to put on the SNES classic once I got it and god drat I had completely forgotten about Lufia 2, that was pretty good back in the day but I haven't beaten it since the late 90s but I remember the soundtrack at least being dope as hell, is it a good rpg or is it going to be disappointing to go back and play it again

drat, thanks for that. My brother loves that rouge like dungeon so much but I don't think I ever messed around with it. I had no idea there was a DS game too. The one thing I remember the most is the general boss theme, it was like Natsume or whoever made it took a hint from Capcom with figuring out how to get that rock guitar sound trough the SNES sound chip that was :krad:

My brother had the same thoughts on it that you did and I'm glad it's not just nostalgia, can't wait to play it again
