 Amanchu is an anime adaptation of the manga by Kozue Amano, about a shy girl moving into a new town who meets a bright and energetic girl and then they go diving together.     The Cast:       The Star:  I love this show. It's bright, it's colorful, it's funny, it's relaxing, and Teko and Pikari are ridiculously gay for each other! The artwork is really beautiful, the color design is perfect, it's really well-directed and well-animated, and Teko and Pikari are ridiculously gay for each other and they have a cool teacher! Please watch this anime!!!

Oh poo poo an amanchu anime? The manga is super good and relaxing, it's by the person who did aria so it's really chill. The friendly siblings are probably my favorite characters. The goat-cat-things are really weird looking.

でこ = Deko, meaning forehead. Note the little fuzzies, like eyebrows. てこ = Teko, a forehead without the fuzzies. That's the nickname.

I'm gonna try watching this, the first ep was pretty good, but Aria would make me fall asleep. Like not out of being boring, it was just so chill that I would fall asleep.

I must say if you enjoy the anime, consider the manga as well. While obviously not colored or animated, a lot of the scenes are fantastically drawn with plenty of beautiful full page shots.

And caught up with Episode 2. Yeah, this show's good. It's really pretty, although I feel like it leans just a touch heavier on Pikari and Teko's SD faces than I would prefer, because their actual faces are really well drawn and look great. I hope the writers acknowledge the very obvious crush they've given Teko and Pikari at some point, though. I mean, come on, there was basically no point of these first two episodes that wasn't being produced like a romance. How many episodes are we getting? 13, 26?

I had wished for an infinite amount of Aria so I would always have something relaxing and pleasant to watch before bed. Amanchu is an excellent substitute. Buttcat is cool, don't hate on the poor thing, it didn't get to choose "buttface" or "not buttface" when it was born!
