Youtube is not providing me with adequate examples of Mark Jindrak throwing good dropkicks. This is a failing on its part.

Ditch posted:I am hosting/linking to hundreds (thousands?) of the best matches ever. Only one match description notes a dropkick as a big highlight: this one (from 40 years ago!) You chose..... wisely. Aesop Poprock posted:Also JR completely losing his poo poo over it cause he'd been waiting for it the whole match That was great too, yeah. I bet JR was especially happy because it plays so well into his (quite accurate) philosophy that you can still wow the crowds with relatively simple things if you just time them right within the context of a match.

Current best dropkicks: Okada Jason Jordan SANADA Shibata (corner) Cedric Alexander (corner murder spree) All time best dropkicks: Okada Lance Storm Bob Holly That orc from the extended edition of Return of the King Dropkicks are cool as hell.

Oh yeah, Jason Jordan needs some dropkick love in this thread. It's especially impressive when he does it to multiple people one after the other, just popping up and never missing a beat and making it look great every time.

Glad to see Cedric and Shibata get mentioned, but also Roddy Strong has a excellent dropkick. The running dropkick off the apron Kyle O'Reilly does is pretty great too, especially when he blasts a guy straight into the guardrail or a chair.

The match I was thinking of was Tajiri vs Corino from Hardcore Heaven 2000: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0WLLd09i9U&t=375s That match actually has Tajiri doing a ton of awesome dropkicks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0WLLd09i9U&t=475s A lot of them are overshadowed because that match probably contains one of the only instances of chain wrestling into a green mist attack ever.

Much like Shibata he seems to have lightened up on it now but Rush used to just kill dudes with his corner dropkick. I remember Nakamura and Negro Casas taking particularly nasty ones.
