The devs said they studied everything Chrono Trigger including the pacing when developing it, which is nice since most RPGs in general don't have pacing nearly as tight. I'll give it a go but I hope it's something more than a nostalgia fest. It seems to be getting ok reviews overall.

Yeah, probably going to try to get a refund. Maybe I should finally try Chrono Cross. Is it worth playing after all this time? I don't really mind that it doesn't have much to do with Trigger if it's good in its own right.
