Dongslayer. posted:op was this a contrarian thing? at first it was "ehhh i'm gonna let a couple smartphone generations go by before buying in, let them get the bugs worked out a bit", then yeah it kind of became a "you're gonna give me poo poo for not hopping on the consumer bandwagon already, well gently caress you" thing oh, one of the other things was that my phone stopped dealing with picture messages. once i started getting picture messages that my phone refused to render, that kind of tipped it over. anyway, i'm pretty glad i waited. i only paid $200 for this phone and it seems rad so far. i'm hoping it will last for a while - not the ten years i got out of my last phone, but i'm really not interested in participating in the whole annual upgrade consumerism thing.
