don't worry the union will step in the officers will circle the wagons, ultimately leading to a civil suit that your taxes will pay out

Cartouche posted:There is accountability. What you want is carpet bombing because of specific incidents. cop suplexes indian grandpa into partial paralysis not guilty cops blatantly beat rodney king not guilty cops wrecklessly drive an unsecured freddie gray around resulting in his death not guilty cop shoots unarmed black man to death (take your pick) not guilty cop jumps on the hood of a car he knew (they proved this part) had unarmed black couple in it (13 other cops also unloaded into this vehicle) not guilty cop uses prohibited choke hold to take down black man for illegally selling cigs resulting in his death not guilty cop fatally shoots rekia boyd an unarmed black woman while off duty because her & friends appeared "rowdy" not guilty BART officer shoots a prone black man in the back killing him in cold blood guilty, sentenced to 292 days in jail (less than I would get for smoking weed in public)

Here's a fun article detailing police union corruption: http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2014/12/how-police-unions-keep-abusive-cops-on-the-street/383258/ I know you euro goons never understand why so many of us Americans hate unions, well this is why. Unions should be good for labor, but for some reason here in the states they are synonymous with laziness, greed, & above all else, extreme corruption. Ban the unions, bring back national socialism imo

quote:In June 2008, after downing six drinks as part of his wife's birthday celebration on the South Side, Paul Abel was accused of accidentally shooting a 20-year-old man he was trying to pistol-whip. In December 2009, Eugene Hlavac was accused of slapping his ex-girlfriend (and his son's mother) so hard that he dislocated her jaw. And in November 2010, Garrett Brown was accused of running two delivery-truck drivers off the road in a fit of rage—an allegation similar to those made against Brown in at least one other late-night traffic encounter.

Well he was off duty at the time so naturally he didn't have his baton with himquote:Kaleb Miller, 22, has been given a $40,000 settlement after he was pistol-whipped and shot by an off-duty Pittsburgh police officer Paul Abel, 35. Abel was previously charged with drunken driving, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. However, in June, Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey A. Manning acquitted Abel of the charges in a non-jury trial and then Abel was reinstated to the force. Now, the city is paying damages to Miller. nothing to see here, move along sir
