There are too many songs in this season and they don't feel organic, it's like "let's make a song for the eventual soundtrack"

their confidence shows a lot more and the riff pacing is better, imo. i never had a problem distinguishing jonah from servo, but i hear that's improved as well

On my second rewatch and riff delivery still needs improvement, in old mst3k you could hear quiet disappointment, amusement, boredom, rage etc. in their voices, but in the return, everyone just yells their lines out and that's it. it's not terrible and i still enjoy nu-mst, but it bothers me

edit: do they still record each riffer separately?
