I'm extremely excited for Bannerlord, Mankind Divided, Shantae, and Infinite Warfare. I'm also interested in trying out No Man's Sky and Steep but they're both definitely in "wait for reviews and then rent before buying" territory. It's shaping up to be a good year.

The game went gold this week but if they released in September it would have required a day one patch so they're pushing back retail so people w/o an Internet connection will get to actually play the game as its intended. That was the explanation they gave in a video, and they're prepping a 30 minute gameplay video to show off the final build this week

Day 1 patches are wildly exaggerated btw. Anyone who has waited for a popular game release on steam is used to it by now and unless we riot and shoot internet CEOs in the street for S.Korea tier net, these things will continue to happen. Get over it.
